'There was no employee at front desk when we tried to check in. I had to call the hotel to have the employee come to the front desk. Once he arrived, he was very friendly and professional. The room met our needs for a one night stay and was affordable'

'Parking lot needs serious attention but other than that the room was super clean and the a/c & heater worked perfect as it did get a lil chilly last night. And the fact that they have legit smoking rooms is a big reason why i try to stay there when i need a room. All in all its a nice inexpensive place for a stay-cation lol'

'The Motel 6 in San Marcos is surprisingly nice. The rooms are very clean however you don’t have a refrigerator nor microwave. The pool is exceptionally clean and your a short walk from the San Marcos River!! I took a trip down to the river yesterday and today in passing. I was severely impressed with the atmosphere along with the trails/walkways parallel to the river. 'We came from Wichita Falls, Texas a 10hr drive to Pharr Texas. First time ever in this little city. It was late when we arrived almost 10pm. Upon arrival I met Isamar front desk.
