B&B in Peru

'The staff was very welcoming and helpful in giving directions or offering advice. Big thank you to ELLIOTT who helped us find another hotel at the last minute, when another hotel in the region had canceled our reservation at check in. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to major points of interest. It also offered clean drinking water. Much appreciated'

'Vanaf het station Ollantantambo gelopen, hetgeen door het zoeken niet direct heel eenvoudig was. Route is echter achteraf gemakkelijk. Loopinstructies zouden handig zijn geweest. Kwartier lopen vanaf station. Guesthouse zelf heel vriendelijk. Eenvoudige kamer, maar alles is aanezig en is schoon. Prima ontbijt met een glimlach. Prachtig gelegen in het oude centrum en met direct uitzicht op de oude Inca omgeving. Stadje is erg leuk. Aanbeveling om hier te verblijven voor bijv. 2 nachten. Vervoer...

'Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van het centrum van de wijk Barranco. Het heeft een fantastisch uitzicht op de oceaan. Het verblijf gecombineerd met de overal aanwezige kunst is een aanrader!'

'Very nice staff, good breakfast, close to the airport, pick-up from the airport no matter what time you arrive. The B&B was only a bit noisy, especially in the morning (barking dogs, chickens, constructions)'

'Cheap ($19) and close to the airport! The owner is very friendly and helpful! She cooked up a great breakfast of eggs, rolls, and coffee/tea. The neighborhood is older and rundown. However, the residents are just normal people---women sweeping the sidewalk in the morning, children walking to school, lady selling food at a stand, taxi driver polishing his car, etc. I felt it was a good introduction to the Peruvian culture and am happy we stayed there!'

Pra quem fica em Ollantaytambo depois de visitar o Vale Sagrado é um momento de pausa pra descanso e sossego. O único inconveniente é ficar na última rua e ser praticamente a última propriedade da rua. Mas é isso que lhe confere as qualidades mencionadas. Não vá com grandes bagagens pois o acesso é feito a pé, apenas.'
