'I can recommend this sanctuary of a hotel for the beauty, service, breakfast , comfortable bed, sound of the river, trail behind the hotel and the bathtub ( a rare find in the sacred valley. Frank and Lyda were attentive and helpful. They went out of their way for us. I absolutely love room 3, which is on the second floor with a gorgeous view of the river. 'This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character.
Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive
The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well.
Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly.
The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. It’s a work in progress.
Walking distance from the Maras Salt Mines through a little village

'Lovely hotel, really enjoyed the quiet, calm setting at the foot of a steep mountain, with the sound of a stream rushing by and wonderful gardening including tons of flowers. Adding to the peace and quiet, the rooms are in separated cottages, with fireplaces, big comfy beds, good linens, and outdoor seating. 'This was a beautiful stay and the host/owner is so incredibly sweet and accommodating to any needs you may have. Highly recommended doing dinner on-site at least once as it is very much worth the cost. If you're planning on being in Urubamba, stay here!'

'One of the best travel experiences I have had. Xavier and Erica are incredible hosts and people. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Filled with beautiful plants , trees, and flowers.
