'We were surprised this is considered a 4 star hotel. It is in need of a renovation. The property appeared old and run down, the main elevators weren't working or were very slow. You could not drink the water unless you are an elite member. The duvet was in between 2 thin sheets and not between an actual duvet cover. The room was clean however, which is the most important thing to me. The staff was also kind. It is also very busy with events (weddings, dance competition, etc.)'

'We stayed here as it was close to Stony Brook University. The staff were very polite. We were able to check in early, which was a great help. We were just staying one night and did not eat the breakfast. We would stay here again.'
