'View Lodge Biwa is a really nice accommodation right on the lake shore at Manohama beach. Nice and quiet hotel with Japanese and western style rooms. The place is run by Chiaki (who is fluent in English) and her husband, who are excellent hosts.'

'We loved the room we got with the private onsen on the balcony, well worth it. The dinner that we had in the private dining room was amazing, so much variety and they were smaller portions which was nice so we could try everything without being too full. The breakfast wasn’t for us, it was Japanese style and while there was a lot of variety, it included a lot of things that were picked and had vinegar on them which wasn’t for us that early in the morning.
