« firstly communication was not clear because when I get the guesthouse the person who was assisting me told me that I'm supposed to be in Strand but the direction that I got was for Somerset. I was so confused but assisted me because there was a room that was free in that site. very thing is perfect very apartment is very nit and clean. »

« The hospitality at the Waterstone is top notch. We were greeted by Charmaine, who got us settled and made sure everything was taken care of on our arrival. The next morning we had breakfast out in the garden and pool area. Everything was fresh and delicious, in beautiful surroundings. Load shedding hit during breakfast hours, but Charmaine managed to keep the kitchen running and no one went without hot coffee or toast! Definitely a well run operation. « Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay. »

« Sehr schönes Haus, altmodisch, im Stil von 1850. Sehr nettes Personal. Unser Zimmer ging war eine Maisonette. Unten Küche mit allem was man braucht, vor der Tür ein kleiner Pool. Im Obergeschoss Schlafzimmer und Bad. Leider keine Dusche zum inndie Hand nehmen. Regendusche und für die Badewanne kam das Wasser ungewöhnlich aus der Decke. »

« It was not pleasing due to the following; - Shower tab not good (water comes out as a drip of rain, with difficulties in balancing hot water and cold water. - Bath had no water stopper - There were splinters remains of used soap in the shower. - I was disgusted with the dirtiness of the Microwave inside as I wanted to warm the Pizza - No soap provided in the room even for washing hands in the sink - Television not playing »

« The accommodation is very beautiful in everything - rooms, pools, garden,… The Host was very nice and had good lunch/dining recommendations for us. The breakfast was really good and offered us a big variety. The room and bathroom was clean and pretty. There are enough parking spots. We would definitely come back when we are in Franschhoek. »

« We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Cottage. The home was quaint, romantic, and had a great view. The restaurant was great (we ate breakfast there). Close walk to town. Everything was perfect! »
