'I enjoyed my stay at the hotel . The friendliness of the staff ; the beautiful gardens leading into the municipal park (Deep End Dale ); the delicious food served in the hotel restaurant. My only disappointment was that my room did not have a window I could open or any kind of view at all. I thought, therefore, that the money I paid for my room and breakfast was not really value for money . '

'Our room smelled of cigarette smoke, the wash basin was cracked, the furniture was chipped, and the decor very tired the several areas of the property needed decorating and maintenance especially the ceiling in the lounge which was very stained with a water leakage. The breakfast was very good and staff were very helpful.'

'A real hidden jem in a small village with lots of facilities. Opposite the Castle and duck pond. Not far to lots of tourist hotspots and when you get back plenty of free parking. Its an old building with creaking floorboards but that odds to the charm.'

'A hotel at a great location on the golf court, with a fantastic restaurant. Unfortunately the state of the building is not as nice as the picture shows, and the windows are desperately requiring maintenance. Service was OK, but I was given 2 single beds instead of a double bed, and they neglected to inform me that Wifi was free of charge. A lot of apologies, but not really what I expected for the price paid. Still an interesting experience and the restaurant made up for it.'

'Convenient to road system but unaffected by traffic noise. Free parking. Reception friendly and efficient. Lifts available. My room had 2 double beds which made the room seem cramped. The bed I used was comfortable. Ensuite bath with an over shower. I had to fix the shower curtain back on the track to avoid soaking the floor. Food good quality and reasonably priced.'

'Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room with very comfortable bed and hot bath/shower. The bar restaurant area is wonderfully historic and very atmospheric. The menu is superb and the bar has a good selection of real ales. All in all a very pleasant place to stay.'

'La zona es muy tranquila y bonita. La casa esta en muy buenas condiciones y la calefaccion va genial. Quiza deberian revisar un poco el menaje, pero es cierto que dejan todo lo necesario para limpiar. El trato es via mobil o e.mail, pero eficiente. A mas dejan detalles para la llegada y se agradece mucho. Repetiriamos sin problemas. '
