'The Riu is a beautiful property and very well maintained. The staff are exceptional! I really feel that they need to work on their food. It is unfortunately the only thing I have to complain about. I recently was in Jamaica at a Riu and the food their was the same I was hoping that it would be different in Mexico but sadly it was the same. I felt the only decent restaurant was the Italian one in both locations. I hope that they can step it up to become 5 star in my opinion.'

'Gorgeous smaller, boutique hotel. Beautiful cool rooftop pool, lovely beach walks, plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas, the breakfasts at downstairs Lia were amazing, fresh, so delicious, overall food was very good!
