'When we arrived, we were informed that even though we had a confirmed reservation there was no room. The reason the cleaning staff had not cleaned the room. So, after a long flight in the rain we were forced to fiend for our selves and find another place to lodge. I now am fully aware that an Expedia reservation at a Hilton property is worth a warm bucket of spit.'

'The breakfast was very nice and so many options. We traveled with toddlers and a picky teenager...no problem finding something for all to eat. We canceled other places and paid cancelation fees to stay here...we're very happy we did!!'

'The staff were great, especially the friendly man who maintains the great breakfast area. However, we did have some issues. Some outlets in the room didn’t work, the TV system was confusing to use, the hairdryer was melted, not enough towels, no shampoo. All in all, the stay had minor issues and the staff was welcoming and great.'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'The room and the hallway smelled bad. The room and bed was small, did not provide enough space for our luggage (only 3 suitcases) and the kitchenette was not equipped with any cookware, coffee maker, nor dishes. The location also was way out of Ashland and inconvenient for visiting folks in the town of Ashland. This place was not what we expected from the description on Expedia.'

'We booked a Handicapped room. It wasn't very well set up for a handicapped person in a wheelchair. As were most of the hotel rooms on this trip, this room was for a person whose 'handicap' was, perhaps, that s/he had to use a cane. Compare that to an amputee in a wheelchair. I asked when making the reservation that the ottoman be moved; it wasn't and it caused a problem. Getting the wheelchair between the bed and the TV table was another problem. It seems that what hotels think...

'Room was clean and bathroom was clean and big. Very spacious room. Breakfast was really good one of the best hotel breakfast'

'The property is very new. The area around it near the Henrico convention center is very new and construction is ongoing. Thus, the parking area is confusing. I am sure it will quickly improve as the improvements are completed. Breakfast was good with eggs and sausage/bacon included. I would return.'

'You should at least have coffee in the lobby for guest'

'Stayed with family. Property was clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast was really good with multiple choices. Room was clean with nice bathroom and amenities. Property was close to restaurants and shopping. Went to multiple yard sales while visiting this area and people were friendly and inviting. Would definitely stay here again if in area. Only con was no business center available.'
