'I do not think that Dorothy's is a good place to stay for older people. I am 71 with a bad knee. The 3 flights of stairs with no elevator were hard going. The bedroom had a queen bed against the wall. As older people who have to use the bathroom during the night this was very inconvenient - the person next to the wall had to wake the other person in order to get out of bed. And not having a bathroom attached to the room was not ideal. Also our room went off the kitchen /laundry area. People...

'Heel goed hotel, maar geen water op de kamer noch roomservice. '

'Amazing location, very beautiful room. The self check in is self explanatory just follow the directions! Only downside was the lack of towels provided, we stayed two nights and never got replacements. But the location and cleanliness was so perfect I don’t even care about the towels. Will stay again!'

'Right from the beginning we had problem with check in. Because the reservation was made via Expedia they had issue with checking us in. I had to show the proof of payment and proof of reservation . Then in the morning we have noticed that we haven't receive a Lake View Room as we ordered. I had mentioned this at front desk but the only response was ... oh we are sorry ... so , unfortunately I wasn't a good Experience for us .'

Rooms are a bit small and stuffy, with no view or possibility to open windows in the bottom rooms, although the owner unscrewed one of the closed windows for us to let in a bit of fresh air. Good bathroom with...

'Next to the line'

'The best part by far was the breakfast. Food was amazing, better than any restaurant, and they had options for dietary restrictions as well. Cleanliness was average. The bathroom we had was dimly lit and the mattress had a noticeable sag to it. The place has a lot of amenities, parking for larger vehicles is street only. Not great for booking last minute. The phone number is not answered, there’s no one on-site, and communication is via text and having to upload documents. Had to set this up...
