'The property was great and worked very well for our family on a trip that was Chicago-centric. It was effectively 35-55 min from downtown based on traffic and was easy to to as well as easy to park more than one car. The bathrooms were well appointed and had everything we needed. It wasn't mentioned in the description, but there is a public bike/walking trail right across the street. We had a couple of great strolls right along a scenic river, really really pleasant.'

'We should have listened to the other reviews on this place, but unfortunately there wasn't much in the area to choose from. From the moment we walked in it smelled terrible, almost like a skunk smell. Obviously it's right on the Fox River so there's going to be bugs but a lot of the windows especially upstairs are not sealed right and in one of the bedrooms there were a ton of mosquitoes and other bugs all over the ceiling.
