'This property offers the perfect getaway. The cabin is so lovely, clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We loved sitting on the beautiful deck, listening to birds and the breeze through the trees; walking the peaceful private path to the High Bridge Trail, and exploring Farmville’s charming nearby downtown. 'Great place in a quiet and remote location although close enough to destinations that provided a lot to do. The host was very helpful and responsive to inquiries. Definitely recommend.'

'The views were amazing! Loved waking up and seeing the lake. We saw deer and a bald eagle. I got to kayak for the first time and be rowed around in the row boat by my husband (even tho they didn't have the proper oars, had to use the kayaks). They were all provided by the host. The only negative is the walk down to the lake. It's steep and what steps are there aren't very usable. Would stay here again.'
