Blokhutten in Broomes Island

'Breakfast was plentiful and mostly good. Staff was quite accommodating and friendly.'

'Outstanding service, plenty of parking, clean rooms and very quiet even though my room was near the elevator. Highly recommend this hotel.'

'It is an older property. The room itself, although clean, had unfinished drywall parches on the walls. The bathroom door had a fist punch hole in it. The carpet had a section of a repair patch. Spots on the ceiling. TV had a few stations. The room had a musty type smell.. Other than that it was close to shopping and restaurants.'

'Staff was amazing our entire stay, as well as by accommodating switching our ADA accessible room from a king to two queens when we decided to have our grandkids stay over one night with us. There was one glass shelf in the kitchen area that I kept banging my forehead on due to the placement of the shelf above the counter area which resulted in bruising. I was glad to hear that the shelf would be removed in the upcoming 2027 renovations. There was no handheld in the accessible shower and the...

'Patching and painting was rather amateurish. Otherwise very friendly staff!'

'Kind and respectful staff! Close to nice restaurants and stores. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean.'

'A clean, pleasant hotel with lots of light and friendly staff in the middle of little Leonardtown. I actually asked the front desk if they were new because of how clean everything was and they said they did a major renovation about 5 years ago. Easy (and FREE) parking across the street. Our room (a king bed) was clean and quiet. If we're ever in the area again, this is where we'd stay.'

'Clean rooms'

'The stay was ok until I tried to leave. At checkout time I was told that I still owed $8.20 for parking. I almost lost it. As a Hilton honors I never payed for parking anywhere I have stayed. I would really like someone to explain why this happened at a Hilton Hotel.'

'Heel fijn hotel. Kamer ruim genoeg. Goed ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Mooie ligging en makkelijk om op de hoofdweg te komen. De niet roken Kamer rook helaas nog wel naar rook. '

'Breakfast was good, the staff constantly replenished any items that were running low and were very friendly. Had some communication issue with front desk and room wasn’t made up one day. Bed was comfortable'

'One of the best close to home getaway destinations I have ever experienced. It rivaled the resorts you’ll find in areas you need a passport to reach, but it is basically just an hour from our home in Montgomery County, MD'

'This is an older hotel that really hasn't kept up to today's expectations for the average hotel guest. But, for the price, I got exactly what I expected, that being a clean room, a place to bathe, a small kitchenette and a place to sleep. The staff was friendly & helpful. For those giving bad reviews for this place, I'd only remind them that this was by far, the cheapest place around. I only paid $64 per night, so I think I got a good deal.'

'Very cute..but very tiny and super dated. Duplex. Not entire house to self. ..through a door is other people....noise Porch, yard firepit and views great! Steps to house steep. No handrails. Careful. No access to beach....all grown up grass weeds trees.. No deck/dock as described on property.pic is next door... Very disappointed. Water pressure in sink very very low. No kitchen. Didnt state it did. But just beware . The views. Quit was nice. But thats bout it . .'
