'This was a wonderful place to stay in DC. It was a great place because it was was within walking distance of many of the DC sites. It was also close to many top-notch restaurants. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The elevators were timely. It had a fine fitness room and lounge. The place was large and clean. '

'The actual unit is very nice and very clean! Lots of small appliances and kitchen utensils perfect for use. Everything was clean and organized. Some of the appliances didn't work however. The microwave wasn't working properly. Otherwise everything else i used worked as expected. Check in was a nightmare! The host was very rude and unhelpful. I had to rely on expedia's chat system with Hala Tysons to get my check in information. The website with the checkin information is so poorly developed...

'Definitely one of the best aparthotels that I've ever stayed at. The two bedroom was very clean and extremely spacious. It had all the amenities we needed. The corner room we stayed in had a great view as well. FYI there is 2 hour street parking behind the property that works as overnight parking after 6pm as well.'

'The property was well-maintained, clean and spacious, and the staff was responsive. The amenities of the building were nice (gym, game room, and rooftop). The apartment amenities could be described more accurately so guests can be better prepared. For example, the washer/dryer is a combination unit and it did not work well for a family. Also, it states that they provide detergent, coffee, shampoo, etc. but it was small samples and not sufficient for full stay.'

'The location of the River Inn is excellent. It is in a nice neighborhood, with like a 20-30 mins walk to the DC Mall. There are multiple restaurants and super markets relatively close. The hotel itself also contains an Italian restaurant that was fine, the breakfast is also there. The staff of the hotel is helpful and the rooms are clean and big. The room contains a lot of extra facilities such as cooking facilities. We had a great stay. '

'Great location, close to the National Mall. Comfortable accommodations. Couple of minor maintenance concerns with broken lamp and toilet flush kit but nothing we couldn’t manage. Enjoyed the roof top terrace too! Great stay!'

'The property is older, has smaller rooms, worn public spaces and not special but charges like it’s the a brand new Ritz or Four seasons. It does not deserve the four stars. '
