Soo clean, and they left us clean water and pretzels as a welcome, I felt so safe and the hot tub was amazing! It felt so private here. Definitely book your stay! It’s so worth it and it’s beautiful outside.'

'It was close to the Sight & Sound theater and the Country Kettle Kitchen stores. The swimming pool and hot tub were very nice, but it should be noted that they are shared with the family and other guests. '

'The hideaway is a lovely house nestled on a shared property with a beautiful cottage. The view of the creek from the large picture window is beautiful and the perfect backdrop to sit and read. The house is immaculate and provides all the luxury needed for a short relaxing stay. The view of the cornfields across from the porch takes you back to days gone by. '

'This cottage was a Godsend to us at just the right time. Our hosts were gracious and kind, going out of their way to find what we needed during our stay. The facility is as depicted on line-clean, neat, comforting in decor, and close to all one might need in the area. The playground was a bonus for our visiting grandchildren. A full blessing of joy.'

'Just charming and rustic! The kitchen is well-appointed. The overall vibe is old-school lakehouse/ cabin/ camp. The porch is to die for. We had never been to Mount Gretna before, but chose it because it was very close to the PA Renn Faire, which we were attending with our children and their spouses. I would recommend 100%. Please note, the houses are very close together, so maintaining the quiet the neighbors expect and deserve may be difficult with pets.'

'We needed a place that would accommodate grandmother, mother, adult son, and two small dogs. A Slice of Heaven fit the bill perfectly. Easy access to Harrisburg International Airport as well as the wedding location in Annville, PA. Enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, local eateries, and the concert we could here from the house after the wedding on Sunday.'

'A quaint get-away in the heart of horse country.Our host , Chris, had everything we could need and was flexible with our schedule and communicative. He provided great books explaining the history of the estate, and a very helpful list of nearby attractions. We were too busy with our itinerary to explore the grounds, so there will have to be a next time.'

"We arrived less than an hour before the official check-in. With all our luggage. The room was not ready, ok. But we could not leave our luggage behind for the remaining 45 minutes. So everything back in the car… Breakfast offers enough options and is fine. Dinner and shopping options at the doorstep, very convinient. Clean room. We got a room facing Hwy 30, which turned out to be quote noisy. A large a/c or generator grille next to the window did the rest. Off course we could have asked for another room, but when you already have settled after a long day travel, not so fine. So all together, we think it is over-rated and overpriced. Not a bad hotel, but room for improvement. "
