Heart of Amish Country - Paradise Cottage

  • Our newly renovated Heart of Amish Country Paradise Cottage is located in central Lancaster County just a short drive from the most popular Lancaster attractions. You can hear the Strasburg Railroad trains in the valley below!
    We're located just 10 min. from the Sight & Sound Theater, Strasburg Rail Road & Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, 13 min. from Dutch Wonderland & the village of Bird in Hand. Enjoy watching the Amish buggies roll by this cozy quiet getaway.

    The cottage has 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds & 1 double bed) and 2 full bathrooms, including an ensuite bathroom for the master bedroom. Guests have a private lodging with private entrance. The owner lives in the lower level (semi-basement) of the house. She will be available if needed, but otherwise will respect the privacy of her guests.
    2025 - our lodging now features a newly installed Kinetico water sytem.

Fabric Shopping Getaway

RuthAnn's home was the perfect retreat at the end of a day of fabric shopping for my friend and I. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. A wonderful and comfortable home. The picture window gave us views of the beautiful horse and buggies passing by. The location was perfect for our visit to Sight & Sound Theatre as well as to to wolf sanctuary and trip into the town of Lititz and dinner on the train. So much to do and enjoy.

The house and landscaping were very neat and clean. Well stocked kitchen with a variety of snacks. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Could have used some grab bars in the showers.
