'Absolutely loved my time at Moxy. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Rooms are nothing grand but for one person maybe two it’s perfect. You don’t spend much time in your room anyways. Patito is a cute hidden gem and they have decent food. Location is in the middle of hotel zone and centro. The best part of the stay was most definitely the staff!'

'The hotel is just new and has all the potential for a great stay, but currently some of the little things just make it not a 5/5. Our room wasn’t clean (there were nail clippings in the sink!) and when we mentioned it to the desk, it took 2 days for it to be actually cleaned.. in tulum you basically go everywhere by bike, but a 2 person room only gets 1 bike.. so you still end up paying. 'The room was very clean and that's always number one prerequisite. The staff who received us was very patient as we didn't know a lot of things and asked many questions. I didn't understand why we had to pay more for one more person, as the room had two queen side beds and we were able to bring another friend along. That was not right, but it's not the staff's fault. The check out person spoke Argentinian Spanish and we could not understand a word she said, and she seemed to get bothered easily....

'We stayed in one of the penthouse apartments which was immaculate and incredibly spacious! The pool was a lovely addition as Tulum was hot when we visited! Isabel was very responsive and ensured we were comfortable throughout our whole stay! The area is very safe and there is 24 hour security at the main entrance! Would definitely recommend!!!'

'it's actually is a condominium unit or timeshare. The registration process was a little complicated but the property itself is beautiful. The roof top pool was a nice treat. There's construction going on next-door but it's not very intrusive. Be wary of the route that Google Maps gives you to get to the Hotel. One goes through some questionable neighborhoods with dirt streets, the other is very direct.'
