'Kathleen was an excellent host and her two bedroom cottage was very comfortable. Location is excellent - walking distance to Abbott Kinney Blvd. and all the shops and restaurants.'

Cons: Building is old and cold with security being questionable due to old windows can't be closed and locked. Drafty old house, doors and windows with no seals and does no longer close securely due to age, along with the heater not properly functioning for the first day. There were cockroaches in the kitchen.'

'The house handled the 7 of us well. It was two grandparents, two parents and three kids ages 17, 15 and 11. It was a perfect location close to the beach area. It was literally a 3 minute walk to Venice Beach with all its action. Santa Monica was just a few miles up the road. We rented e-bikes and were up there in a flash. 'Loved this property. In spite of the proximity to a busy street, we found it quiet enough and safe. Curbside parking is iffy, so we opted to spend the additional $20 for the secure garage. Just wish we had time to enjoy the rooftop seating area and fire pit. Everything was thoughtfully appointed. Will definitely try to stay here again!'

'Really a fun & fantastic home. Stayed here with my son (who lives in Venice) for 4 days. Really loved the location. Could walk to yummy breakfast, lunch & dinner restaurants. Beds were very comfy and the home is really cool. Awesome layout and lots of eclectic touches. Tia was very helpful & a really great host, easy to communicate with before & during our stay. Backyard was a favorite hangout spot during sunny days and also at night. Had fun watching the NCAA Women’s Finals on the big projector...

'I really liked my stay. The location is great on the well known Venice Beach Boardwalk, the beach is literally 5 steps away. On the rooftop you can chill as well with a great view. Rooms are nice as well, beautiful bathroom and good bed to sleep in when you are not out in Venice and/or Santa Monica.'
