'Spotless beautiful hotel. Friendly front desk staff. 3 negatives. Horrible lighting in the room. One awful desk lamp and one wall mounted lamp between the beds. Most outlets did not work for charging phones. Only 1 elevator functioning. But, delicious free breakfast buffet and very clean, spacious, comfortable bathroom and room. '

'On our way from the Carolinas to Washington, DC we stayed one night in Salem/Roanoke, VA. This was a surprisingly pleasant hotel, clean rooms, nice pool (although the jacuzzi might be a few degrees warmer) and gym. Reception with fresh cookies, and an excellent breakfast. Good value for money!'

'On my way back from Florida this was our mid-trip stop. Check-in was easy and the room was comfortable. I was not impressed that the smoke alarm was not installed before we arrived. It was laying on a shelf. Major safety violation. But overall the room was fine.'
