« My husband and I had a wonderful time here, it was just the right size for the two of us. We stayed for a week and enjoyed evenings on the screened porch. The picnic table on the porch was great for bringing home dinner and enjoying it outside but away from the mosquitos. Everything seemed very clean on arrival and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! »

« A real cute place with a cozy layout and amazing bathroom and shower. It was just secluded enough but not overly challenging to get to. The upper porch was great for hanging out and watching the pair of hummingbirds that seem to have made the area home. The bed was comfortable but also a little squeaky and noisy. We really enjoyed our stay and it was just the relaxing getaway we needed. »

« This was our second time staying here. This home is very clean and well stocked with anything you may need during your stay. It’s easy to find and easy to check in to. We will be back again. »

« It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up. »

« What a unique relaxing stay enjoying birding, kayaking, stargazing, sunsets off the bridge and watching the kids capture crabs galore. We loved the quirky cottage with its amazing large wrap around window views. Donna and Mike are caring hosts, offering plenty of tips on the area when asked. The island is conveniently located close to Yorktown and not far from Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. The kids also enjoyed both Yorktown and Jamestown beaches during the stay. »
