'Yeah... relaxing'

'We had an enjoyable stay on the houseboat. The bed was comfortable, and the accommodations had everything we needed. We even made spaghetti the first night for dinner since we arrived later than planned. The area is private, we only saw a few people and those we did see gave a friendly hello if they didn't stop to chat with us. For anyone wondering about the movement of the boat, it is very stable. The boat is docked in a channel off the main river so not a lot of boat traffic and the currents...

'Ashleigh and Michael have thought about every detail when it comes to staying here. They are great communicators of what you need to bring and what is supplied. It makes planning so much easier. I don’t know how many times we’ve stayed somewhere not knowing what was needed. They have everything listed down to the condiments provided in the refrigerator. Everything is labeled and well organized. The tug boat was very clean. The location is beautiful and so quiet. We look forward to staying here...

'The property is an entire boat, with kitchen and bathroom. Very nicely renovated. Great location between Richmond and Williamsburg. Very friendly reception by operator, who provided accurate and helpful tips. We were sorry that we could stay only one night, we would have loved to stay longer. Near presumed site of Pocahontas' village and near Civil War fortifications.'

'We booked this boat for our son's birthday, who just turned 7. He had a great time and did not want to leave when it was time. Christian was a terrific communicator and that really made up for some of the minor issues we had.'

'Firstly, Cpt Ron is a sweetheart ❤. The original boat cookie B was unavailable so we stayed on the Kayla Leigh instead. Captain Ron is very friendly and informative, we enjoyed the stay and chatting with him and his lovely wife. It was my first time on a small boat overnight and it takes a little getting used to being a tall girl, 😁 outside of adjusting to the shower/toilet situation I had a great stay! Highly recommended and I would book again. '
