'If you have trouble with stairs don't stay here. Lovely place but the drive to the house is difficult. And then the stairs up to your room, oh my. I had to leave after one night as I just couldn't face them daily. And having to drive the narrow, twisting road at dusk was frightening. It was a great room and the quiet was outstanding. Host was a lovely lady. Just I'm too old for all the climbing.'

'I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. 'Overall we had a great stay. But I want to clear up a few issues. There is room for two cars in the driveway because it’s a long driveway, one car goes in first and one car parks behind it. The next issue is that there are only one and 1/2 bathrooms. There’s a 1/2 bath on the main floor and one full bath (no bathtub) on the lower floor.
