'Dorothy's place was great for my needs! As a single traveler, I only needed one room for one night. The premises was clean, close to Wrigley Field, and served its purpose. It was also a relatively affordable rate given area hotels. I would definitely stay here again!'

'One of the best price/quality options for your stay in Chicago. Great neighbourhood with lots of (rather expensive) restaurants and bars. Supermarket around the corner. Metro station at 10 minutes walking distance. The Villa Toscana is a charming old house with nice garden and verandah. 'Feels like a glorified “serviced apartment” more than a hotel — no staff onsite except the occasional cleaning person. No luggage storage, but there are locations nearby to store your bags (via Bounce, ~ $15 for 2 bags for the day). With that said, the room was clean, cool, and comfortable. Great price compared to other accommodations in the area — location is A+, walkable to many bars & restaurants and the red line. All communication with the property was clear. Overall, would stay again.'

'The location is tremendous and the complex is very quiet at night, even with the train tracks close by and the window open, it was nice and quiet with just whooshing train sound. (this is important because sometimes people dont want to stay by the L, but I thought it was really quiet in the neighborhood and the train sounds were minimal. 'The stay was great! The host was very responsive both prior to arriving and while we were there. It was easy to get around whether walking, driving, or taking the train. The explanation of the parking felt a little misleading. There isn’t a dedicated space - the parking is street parallel parking.
