'The location was perfect. Easy walk to main street and the harbor walk was just across the street. Easy drive to the Hammond Castle. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small, but fine. The continental breakfast was very nice. John the owner was very attentive and kind. Thanks for the lovely stay.'

'A true pleasure to stay here. A B & B family run and with soul. Lovely. Great location for walking to Harvard Square and going out! Easy access to metro to Boston. Fine old boarding house used in 19th and early 20th century as residence for Harvard students. Interesting features in the rooms. Nice breakfast and large breakfast rooms. '

'We stayed for a few nights. This was my first time staying at a homestay, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was a little nervous, but I was very pleasantly surprised and had no issues. We weren't in the house a ton because we were out and about most of the time. It was more than sufficient for sleeping and showering. The host was friendly. 'What a unique stay! The free parking and breakfast was a bonus- but a really convenient one. The property is super walkable to all the things, but quiet and safe. The staff was really helpful and friendly. It was a nice historic property, it was a lucky find!'

'Absolute Best Location in Salem. Everything about this B&B was great. Super friendly and beautiful place. Although we were told the place was full we didn’t hear a sound from others. It was a few minutes from the City witch mall and the pedestrian shopping. Also within the same distance to the trolley stop (which I highly recommend). If you’re looking for a great experience then stay here. '

'We arrived late, wich was no problem. The room was beyond expectation. So much attention to detail. Some top hotels can learn from it. We stayed at the Twins Room. Breakfast was very nice. Al home cooked and baked and local fruits. All in all a very pleasant experiance.'

'Awe, I was there for a bittersweet reason, memorial for dear lifelong friend… the solitude and calm of this place was just what I needed while I attended this important event… and on a brighter note, I got together with old friends and celebrated a beautiful life. I guess the ole saying lemons into lemonade. But, in the end, I had a glorious time in this beautiful home with its very kind and generous proprietor Charles, what a gentle, genuine and sweet man who was very attentive, down to earth...
