'We loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel. Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! Beyond a few kinds of breakfast bread and a toaster, there was also whipped cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple types of fresh fruit. We were very pleased. There were only a couple drawbacks (which would NOT keep me from recommending the experience): As no one works a front desk, you have to repeatedly call to ask...

'Awe, I was there for a bittersweet reason, memorial for dear lifelong friend… the solitude and calm of this place was just what I needed while I attended this important event… and on a brighter note, I got together with old friends and celebrated a beautiful life. I guess the ole saying lemons into lemonade. But, in the end, I had a glorious time in this beautiful home with its very kind and generous proprietor Charles, what a gentle, genuine and sweet man who was very attentive, down to earth...

'Absolute Best Location in Salem. Everything about this B&B was great. Super friendly and beautiful place. Although we were told the place was full we didn’t hear a sound from others. It was a few minutes from the City witch mall and the pedestrian shopping. Also within the same distance to the trolley stop (which I highly recommend). If you’re looking for a great experience then stay here. '

'This place was so clean, safe, and wonderful in all aspects. Highly recommended. Views out back of beautiful gardens and Marsh. There was a great assortment of snacks, movies, games, and books.Host family lives here and were so pleasant and welcoming. Book this listing today! You wont be disappointed. '

'We arrived late, wich was no problem. The room was beyond expectation. So much attention to detail. Some top hotels can learn from it. We stayed at the Twins Room. Breakfast was very nice. Al home cooked and baked and local fruits. All in all a very pleasant experiance.'

'As an attendee to PAX East since 2013, I mostly used nearby hotels, but this year we looked into other kinds of lodgings, and this one appeared as close enough and well furnished, for cheaper than the 4 nights at the hotel.It was a great experience, clean room, close to several groceries, so the kitchen was well used. Comfortable beds as well, it was a great experience that we will be looking into in the next years again!'

'This was a room in a shared bed and breakfast. The entire house was beautiful, clean, and updated just enough to be comfortable in an old house. I would 100% stay here again!'
