'This place could use some work. The gentleman at the desk was very, very nice. When I arrived he sent me to a room that had not been cleaned but he did fix it right away and was super apologetic. I told him it happens! Not to worry and we went to the new room. The cleaned room was not very clean. I had one half of a roll of toilet paper and lots of hair in the bathroom on the floor. 'Such a beautiful room, new Hotel, not haunted, friendly staff, everything was so clean, my room had a hot plate, big fridge, dishes and silverware, kettle, coffeemaker. It felt like renting a small cottage. Bed was very comfy. It is close to everything in downtown Salem (a 3-minute walk to Essex Street, 1-minute to Derby). Highly recommended!'
