Things to note- if bringing your dog, they are not allowed on the beach between 9-5, cannot go to the pool area and are not allowed to be left alone at the camp site -so it’s difficult to do much during the day unless you’re planning to stay at the campsite only. 'Weather was VERY cold during our stay! But the gas log heater inside the dome greeted us warmly and did a wonderful job of keeping us comfortable inside. We cooked our meals outside on the blacktop grill and ate on the deck admiring the creek and woods surrounding us. With below freezing highs and lows in the low teens, for a last minute get out of the city dose of nature it was a lazy relaxing trip, but would love to experience again in slightly warmer temps.
