« The process to get our family trip started was super easy. The host was very helpful and accommodating to our needs.The house is beautiful and setup perfectly for multiple families. We were able to walk down to the creek behind the house and do some exploring. But some of us just enjoyed being on the outside deck enjoying the sounds of nature. « Property is fantastic, with fun for the entire family. The only issue was getting in touch with the property. I messaged several times with no reply. The only way we found the property was by showing the reservation to someone that worked at the property. She sent me in the right direction with these parting words. “Good luck, they may have it down, they may not. Organization and customer service are not at the top of the list for VRBO listings”. « What a great house at Rumbling Bald! The house is exactly as pictured, with attention to every detail. Although the lake has been dredged, we still had plenty to do and enjoyed every moment spent in the spacious house. Ian was always accommodating and immediately addressed a minor issue we had. « Great property, best supplied/equipped I’ve ever seen, multiple living/gathering areas, clean and tidy inside. We were 6 60 golfers that enjoyed the property immensely. The area is still struggling to recover from Helene but Kieth and Ali are on the top of their game! Highly recommend! »

« This is a great little spot and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place on Lake Lure. It’s convenient and well taken care of in a good location on the lake and having the dock to relax on and the kayaks to take out made for a really great vacation. We would really like to thank our host Mrs. Liz for convincing us to come when we were having second thoughts as we thought that the area and property were damaged by the hurricane Helen. « This vacation home is perfect for a couple or a couple with a teen that wants their own space. The location was excellent. A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. We very much enjoyed waking up early in the morning, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony off the bedroom to watch the mist rise off the lake as the morning fisherman slowly moved past. « Top class quality of the property, very responsive host, super well appointed with high-end stuff. We had a great time living in the property. Thank God for that.. as there was not much else to around the area. Most places in the Lake Lure area were damaged by a recent storm. The putting golf in the property was great and so was the hot tub. »
