« We all enjoyed our time away from everyday pressures to explore and participate in Banner Elk activities and dining - even if only for a short weekend. »

« Great space for a long weekend. There were 8 women in our group. Plenty of room for watching movies and playing games. The restaurants we wanted to go to were very convenient to the house. The one issue when the breaker tripped was quickly resolved with a quick call to find the location of the breaker box. Would definitely rent again. »

« The house was wonderful set up really well for a larger group had everything we needed in the kitchen. A hot tub was great for the kids. We use the fire pit they even supplied wood for the fire. It was just an ideal place to stay. There are like Woodland creatures all around. It was just overall wonderful day. We would love to come back if we were in the area again. »

« This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs. »

« Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. »

« Such a great little spot for a vacation! So close to town, yet just far enough that you're away from all the noise. If you drive a large truck like I do, it's a tight driveway to turn around in. Will definitely be back! »

« Really great place and amazing value! Easy to get to in Linville Falls and close to the caverns and Banner Elk. House is cozy and clean. Even though the listing allows smokong on designated areas, there isnt any smell in the house. I assume the designated area is outside. »

« The cabin was nice and well equipped but the driveway was impossible to get up. Not sure we would have been able to get up the driveway in better circumstances, but it was a complete sheet of ice and one person in our party got stuck halfway up in a jeep. We had to park at the bottom on a sheet of ice, which someone slipped on, and bring our stuff up the 5 mins hike it took (I timed it) with our luggage. This should have been communicated before our stay, but it was not. »
