« It was everything the host said it would be. Despite navigating the narrow winding road in the rain (which we were warned about) we had a lovely time, plenty of room to spread out yet comfy and cozy. »

« Overall a great stay! Wish their beds were larger than a full (pretty snug with 2 adults in one bed). Good location, private for being so close to amenities. Neighbor dog was a bit of an annoyance, but eventually was put back inside.Kitchen was great! »

« Adorable and unique stay. Love the character and the farm. Peacocks walking around, friendly bison, and we even saw a beaver! It was as described! Great communication, kind host! Super close to Johnson city, hiking, and beautiful Mountain views. To note: the only sink is in the bathroom and the bed was not the most comfortable mattress. »

« Great place to visit as most other comments stated driveway was steep but we had no issues, we have 4wd vehicles would recommend this. It was quiet and clean and very nice to enjoy the cooler weather of the mountains. Will stay again »

« Easy to find cabin just past main drag of Beech Mountain shops.Cabin was clean and check in/out was simple.Secondary quarter bathroom was useful but the toilet was awkward placement.This was a perfect place for 2 people. »

« This cottage is conveniently located to restaurants, Banner Elk Village, Sugar Mountain, tubing, and Beech Mountain. But we also enjoyed the place— sitting in the hot tub, gathering around the fire pit, and as a family, watching movies in the coziest of living rooms. « Home is great. A bit of a challenge to reach due to part of the Blue Ridge Parkway being closed due to Helene. Went with the notion of being a wedding anniversary and near a dark sky site. Excellent in terms of privacy and relative darkness. Spouse is 5'2" and had a lot of trouble entering and exiting the hot tub. The mini split ACs are very effective, although it was challenging to understand they all have to be set to AC or heat to work. I'm technically inclined, so this did not pose an issue...
