Cabanes à Newland

« Very dog friendly...kennel and dog supplies readily available if needed. Nice location with firepit and spacious yard. »

« A perfect getaway! Excellent response from host!! »

« We had a great time on our girls weekend trip to Banner Elk. The cabin was spacious, welcoming and clean. Unfortunately we did have issues with the hot tub. The control panel was not functioning so no jets. We notified the host who was quick to respond and have maintenance get it working but with it being the weekend everyone was off. It didn’t ruin our trip we still had a great time. We will definitely be back »

« Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. »

« The entire cabin was great. I really loved the back porch with the creek side sounds. »

« This five bedroom, two-story house is great for large families or groups. Kitchens are well-stocked, although if there are specific spices or oils you prefer, bring those or buy them at two local grocery stores. The hosts are terrific, as are the neighbors. Be prepared to drive up a private gravel road that was rutted by rains when we were there. It's manageable. Know that the house is not handicap accessible, though it's not advertised as such. We had a marvelous time in the area. Lots to do....

« The property was unkempt, very dirty. There were 2 window units for a 3 story 5 bedroom unit which in no way is adequate. The hot tub had not been serviced in a while. There was “ gunk” and debris clinging to the filter. Grill grate was broken, the other had chunks of old food on it. Silverware drawer was full of crumbs ( we assumed that’s is what it was) carpets were filthy. There were several fans in the house, but they were covered in dust. The odor was that of mildew and mold. It was a bad...

« Hidden Gem is amazing. We stayed for 4 days to enjoy the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. The house was perfect for a mix of adults and young children. Super clear and easy booking, communication, check-in and check-out. We already have ideas on coming back. Highly recommend. »

« It was a nice experience staying there, the only thing was that we ran out of hot water. »

« Several items unsafe- sliding glass door lock broken, receptacle plate missing; wires hanging; post on railing on 2nd floor deck missing (our golden retriever could fit through - no question dangerous) Outside could use some TLC; inside was nice. »

« This was just what my wife and I needed, the house was nice and clean and the property was secluded. We had a family of deer walk through in the morning. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent this place again. Zac and very easy to talk to and responded very quickly. »

« House was great for our 11 adult family members. Spacious living area. 6 large bedrooms. Kitchen very well stocked with supplies.House was clean and the host William was great to deal with. Answered questions quickly. Area very quiet. Loved seeing deer and groundhog early in the morning. »

« Renting from this host has been a 100 percent positive experience for me! The home fit all our needs, as well as being quiet and well outfitted, the hot tub was a plus on many evenings. This was my first long term rental and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was managed by our host. He was quick to respond to questions, moved quickly on a small repair that was necessary, and generally made us feel welcome. Would definitely rent again! Barbara »

« Excellent stay and superb host. »

« Love all the little things, coffee gift, comfortable beds, Christmas tree, fireplace, new deck, wine bottle opener. This place was absolutely perfect for us. We will definitely rent this house again. Met all of our needs and the location was quite and peaceful. The host put a lot of work into accomodating renters. »
