'Gastvrije eigenaren. Erg hulpvaardig en vriendelijk. Voorbeeld: zoontje zijn step was niet helemaal goed meer vastgedraaid en de eigenaar was zo vriendelijk om dit te repareren. Wasmachine aanwezig. Erg fijn met drie kinderen! De Barn was een erg fijne plek. Een huis weg van thuis. Goede bedden, een heerlijke douche en een keuken met alle benodigdheden (incl oven). Enige puntje zou wifi zijn, want dit was er niet. '

It's near Arthur's Pass railway station and was not positively surprised with the amount of train traffic late at night and early morning, not ideal for light sleepers. Surroundings are stunning though especially with the fresh snow on the mountains. Walking distance to the village.'

'This is such a unique and beautiful cottage. The cottage is spacious, charming, and beautifully presented. All the extras the host provided (soft drinks, milk, coffee, bread, etc.) were a lovely touch and made the experience even more special.
