Mid Century home nestled in beautiful Beachwood Canyon under the historic Hollywood Sign. Lush canyon views with beautiful hiking right out of the front door. Watch breathtaking California sunsets while relaxing on the spacious deck. Antique rugs and furniture throughout.

You will get the best of both worlds here - a beautiful getaway in the Hollywood Hills surrounded by nature, yet a stones throw away from the wonderful city life that Los Angeles has to offer...

This is a large Hollywood Hills home split into 2 private sections:

The section for rent is 2 stories and has a private entrance, private parking, 2 bed, 2 bath (1 queen and 1 California king).
2 cushioned floor mats are provided for additional guests

Towels and sheets provided.

Spacious living room/dining room with wood burning fireplace and wet bar.

Central Air Conditioning and Heating available

Kitchenette with sink, 2 fridges (1 full size and 1 medium size), coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave oven, rice cooker, toaster oven, hotplate, sandwich press, crockpot & ice cooler. Dishes, pots, pans & kitchen utensils provided. Please note that there is no oven, but full meals can be prepared using the amenities provided, including the gas burner on the BBQ grill.

iPod speaker with auxiliary cable for phone, tablet or laptop.
Television with APPLE TV & DVD library available.

Beachwood Village grocery store and coffee shop conveniently located a mile away.

Spacious and clean. Seriously good view of Cahuenga peak and Hollywood sign areas from living room. A short ten yard walk about southeast and you get a great view of Los Angeles basin. Overall great location. Front entry needs a little bit of attention to make it more secure. Thanks.

We were coming to la for a wedding and found this property. Could not be more pleased with the location, views, and access to fun things to do. My kids were so excited with how close the Hollywood sign was and it was a super short drive to universal studios. Paula was a great host who even dropped off coffee for us! Will definitely be back!

The house was in an amazing location. It was a bit outdated but we lived the old school Cali vibe. There is no kitchen but there was a fridge and other forms of cooking. The accommodations were perfect. The main room was spacious and clean. This rental is connected to a main house. The walkout deck is on the first floor with the bedrooms and the main entrance is in the second floor where there is a huge family room and stunning views!!! We loved walking around the neighborhood and up the trails. No smoking allowed. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at your home.

Great Location

Paula communicated well and made check-in/out a breeze! Property is as described with a wonderful view. We brought our teenage boys to LA for a busy weekend. The beds were very comfortable after long days of sightseeing and fun.

Magical Hollywood Hills Rock Star Hideaway

Hollywood Hills Retreat

We loved staying here while visiting our kids. The house is beautiful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of LA but with easy access to Griffith Park, the Hollywood sign and all the tourist stuff. We were in great communication with the owner. The place was clean, the beds comfortable. We loved the view from the deck and the picture windows in the living room.

In town for Joni Mitchell concert at Hollywood Bowl

This was a trip of a lifetime - to see Joni Mitchell at the Hollywood Bowl- so we needed a great place to stay and we sure found one. It is exactly as depicted in photos. So, no surprises. Super clean and beautifully decorated by someone with an amazing green thumb. The plants are wonderful. The view of the Hollywood sign from the living room and the fantastic deck was spectacular . Paula was prompt in responding to me and super friendly. I’d only make a couple of suggestions: an extra blanket in each bedroom and bigger coffee mugs. We had the best time and would highly recommend this rental for anyone coming to Hollywood. The driving was best left to Uber as the roads are very windy.

Nice getaway but needs a little love

The shared property is nice and spacious. Slightly unique setup with the fridge on the deck and Jack n Jill bathroom to the two bedrooms. Shower spout needs replaced among other antique/original things in the house. It was clean and well kept. The location is up a windy steep hill with a good view. For a single couple with kids, this would be a great stay. Not ideal for two separate couples. Overall good value and nice area.

Breathtaking views from the deck!

If you want to get close to the Hollywood sign without having to hike for a good view, this is the place to stay. Our family of 4 adults enjoyed the very spacious deck with a spectacular view. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. We loved the fact that the main dining area is outside. We ate our breakfast on the deck at a very large table. The main fridge is outside next to the table. If you read the description ahead of time, you can plan around the small kitchenette inside. Most foods can be prepared with their appliances. There is an air fryer/toaster and microwave, coffee maker, and more. Instead of pancakes, we made waffles with the waffle maker, as there is no stove top. But I suppose you could put a pan on the outside grill - pans are provided. The master bedroom king size bed was comfortable, and the 2 bathrooms were appreciated. The living room is spacious, although we spent most of our time on the deck. The one issue we had, but we made the best of it, was the 4th adult sleeping option...The 2 cushions provided for floor sleeping were designed more for kids than an adult, unless you are an adult that is able to sleep on anything. They were quite uncomfortable for an adult. The second bedroom was spacious, but there is a double bed only. So for 3 adults, the sleeping accommodations are great. The 4th adult would have to be a small tolerant adult in our opinion. If you can sweat some small stuff, the location and view totally outweighed it for us. Thumbs up!

Amazing view

Place is exactly as pictured. The inside is obviously a bit dated but that's part of the charm. It's large with lots of space and the view is why you would want to be staying here. Evertything was nice and clean. We spent most of our time on the deck and it was amazing. There's a large fridge and BBQ out there and a great place to hang out. It was nice and shady so even when it was super hot outside it was nice and comfortable on the deck. Host provided us with clear easy instructions and even though we had no issues she was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Hollywood Hills

My family and I stayed in this property for a few days as we visited LA. The host was perfect. Great communication. The pictures in the add were an exact match for reality. There were no surprises. The back deck was amazing. We had dinner out there a couple of nights. The gas grill was very clean and has a side burner. It would be nice if there was a bigger sink area to wash dishes but it is functional. Overall we were very happy.
