'We landed into the airport in San Diego at 10pm. I received a very friendly call from this hotel making sure we would get in by 11pm and that if not, we were given instructions for after-hours. The room was clean and ample space. The amenities in the room were plentiful. The bedding was excellent. Short walk from Vons.'

'Anna was so kind and helpful, she received my amazon packages and had them in our room when we arrived. This place has charm, especially in the small back courtyard and the ground and front porch. The building is dated, but they have upgraded adequately the bathrooms, bed was comfortable and sheets and towels very clean and clean smelling. It is an old house and there are about 12 rooms inside. I believe all the rooms have an on-suite with the exception of number 12 which has a private bath...

'No room service… room service is everything to me while vacationing. And a lot of renovations going on.. so spa was relocated. Took away from the experience. They should lower spa prices if can’t use a steam room , jacuzzi etc … '

'Pro: cute and clean updated motel room. Outdoor garden spaces to relax. Nice location in Coronado. Con: Room 11 bed was uncomfortable. The shower drained painfully slow. Walls were thin; I could hear a person’s phone conversation next door through the wall - at 6:30 a.m.! Also, finding a place to park is challenging if the motel’s five spots are taken.'
