'We verbleven 2 nachten in sierra meadows om Yosemite park te bezoeken. Helaas was de South Gate dicht wegens een bosbrand dus was het wel wat verder rijden om er te komen. De huisjes zijn zeer netjes en comfortabel. Het is een kleinschalig park op een groot en rustig terrein waar de lodges op staan. Het zwembad is dan ook een stukje lopen, (maar er zijn gratis fietsen beschikbaar) en is helemaal prima. '

'De cottage is oud en vies en wordt voor veel te veel geld te huur aangeboden. Toe aan een grondige renovatie. Geen mogelijkheid om fatsoenlijk buiten te zitten (oud en kapot meubilair en afgebroken veranda), nauwelijks ingerichte keuken en het huis is niet goed schoongemaakt. Veel lawaai van de doorgaande weg, waar de cottag direct aan ligt. Veel bouwmaterialen slingeren over het terrein. Grote afrader, er zijn veel mooiere motels, hotels en Cabins in de buurt te huur.'

'This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend! '

'Could not have asked for a more splendid experience!!! Great hosts!! The quaintness of this little cabin is truly surreal!!! Rustic but yet has all the conveniences you need. I’m a stickler for having hot water and this cabin has great hot water. The lodge across the street is a must see. Sitting in front of the fireplace And enjoying good food on a cool Spring evening. Everyone should experience this little piece of heaven tucked away in the Sequoia National Forest.'

'We loved our two day stay at Aftermath! We had some serious wind both days, but it didn’t deter us from enjoying our time there. We still got in the hot tub and watched the sunset! The cabin is really cozy in the evening with the fireplace going, and cooking up our meals in the open kitchen. It was the perfect retreat for us! We shall return!'

'Location is very beautiful and the cabin is very comfy. The 2-2.5 mile drive up is very manageable in dry conditions. However, it rained while we were there, and the mud was quite slippery going up or down. We had AWD, but it was still was difficult at times.'
