« Overall, our stay was very nice. The house was clean, nicely decorated and provided a beautiful view. The host was responsive and even provided ear plugs when we were disturbed by the work outside. Would recommend waiting to book until the road work outside is complete, as the cars driving over the steel plates at all hours made sleeping difficult. There isn’t much of a cell signal without the WiFi, so be sure to have your check-in instructions someplace where you don’t need internet to...

« Unfortunately there were a few issues with the property people should be aware of given the higher price to rent. 1) the oven is broken. Their replacement was a toaster oven, which isn’t suitable for cooking for a family of 4. This was not disclosed. There also aren’t many plates and utensils so bring your own if you’re going to eat a couple of meals here. 2) it’s located on PCH near the fire cleanup (also not disclosed) so there’s significant construction happening all day AND all night....

« Wonderful location, great trails right out the door, creek near by, sounds at night only of frogs and owls. Very nice and responsive hosts. Not for everyone; it is rustic, not elegant -- but exactly what we want. Also a great deal for the price. Having a full kitchen saved us a lot of money. »

« Super soft sheets and cozy bedding in a quiet neighborhood made for a great night's sleep in this spot. Danny was an excellent communicator and the location was perfect for us to stay while we visited our family over the holidays. Full kitchen has everything you need to prep a meal and the living room had ample space to hang out. Great spot - will absolutely stay here again and recommend to others in the area! »

« Our adult son stayed in this unit during Thanksgiving while we (parents) stayed in the upstairs unit. It worked out very well. We were asked to rate the pool, but we are not aware of any pool here. It is most curious! There is no NA category, so I put a 1 since every question requires an answer of some kind. »
