« Nice multi-level property with a rooftop terrace that provides a great view of Funchal. Management was quick and responsive. Be aware that if the weather is hot there’s no AC. They provided a room AC that worked for the bottom floor, and fans for the other two bedrooms…but it was warm for sleeping…but otherwise really enjoyed our stay! »

« There was no wifi no plates no glasses no dish clothes and the list goes on. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Then the host brings on plates and glasses and leaves them for us to unpack. Needless to say we did not and they honestly just need to get organized for when people arrive. »

« Very clean, shower very pleasant, spacious. Sometimes the lights were flickering a lot when we used appliances. We apprecated the parking spot for the car. Kitchen is well equiped except for the coffee machine (we did not know what type of coffee to buy) »

« Die Unterkunft war etwas ganz Besonderes. Die Wände beinhalten viele leere Flaschen, die den Räumen zusätzlich Licht geben. Was man anfangs vielleicht als verspielt sieht sind sorgfältig abgestimmte Details, die die Unterkunft so unvergesslich machen. Kleine „Makel“ wie ein fehlender Geschirrspüler oder (für uns) zu wenige Kochutensilien oder das etwas ungemütliche Licht in der Küche sind da schnell vergessen. Am Ende bleibt eine tolle Erinnerung. »

« Incredibly well maintained property and the location is a beau.. sitting on the mountain top with a gorgeous view of the ocean from the backyard.Car is a must as there is nothing in the walking distance. There are some local choices for food and groceries but we would strongly recommend to dine at the Calheta beach area which has a great collection of places to eat. And it was a breeze to check in and check out, thanks to the friendly and warm staff. We would definitely go back to this place in...

« We were really looking forward to this place as it was our last accommodation on the island. Unfortunately we didn’t realize how high up in the mountains you are - it adds like 15 mins just trying to get up to the property from the towns near by You’re far away from everything! Parking in this place is also very annoying and hard if you’re not a good driver to maneuver around tight corners of the gate and stone walls. Additionally the photos made us think these individual places were spaced out...
