'yes, the hotel is a bit old-style but still a good value for the money. We liked the breakfast, the terrace, the spa, the bed itself ! what could be improved is the heating of the pool and the hotel could be refreshed a bit to make it a jewel'

'The hotel is located near the coast and near a majority of attractions in Funchal. Our stay here was nice and comfortable with no real highlights or lowlights to speak of, and that is a compliment, we admired the cozy painless experience. The outdoor pool was absolutely freezing with the outdoor temperature being 20 degrees, though that was more due to the breeze. The rooftop bar is quite nice and cozy to chill at after a day out in the city !'
