'The resort is located about an hour from Cancun airport. We dealt with Lomas Hospitality in booking. They are fntstic..on top of everything at the resort including your transportation. Resort staff is amazing…very friendly and beyond helpful. The room at the Suites side was very roomy and comfortable. We thought the swim up room would be fun but honestly we rarely used it. 'Het is een groot complex en daar moet je van houden; het is dus overal behoorlijk druk. M.n. Amerikanen en Mexicanen, met hun eigen gewoontes. Strand en zee erg mooi, hoewel er in de zee veel (grote) stenen liggen en je even moet oppassen als je erin loopt. Je ligt onder een palmboom op een wit strand, super. Buffet was compleet en je krijgt netjes een tafel toegewezen; geen Turkse resort taferelen, men is erg beleefd. Minpunten: betalen voor wifi is zo niet meer van deze tijd. Het enig hotel...

'This was our first stay at a Riu resort and first time we’ve vacationed in Playacar specifically. The location was great; the little village market, the small ruins that were in the area and the short walk to Playa del Carmen made it a fantastic location. It felt safe and was close to many amenities. The beach was beautiful and was walkable to Playa del Carmen as well. The resort did a great job of managing the beach and keeping on top of the sargassum, which was an ongoing effort. There was...
