'The location, staff and accodommodation were all excellent! The room was very clean, very close to all the important locations in Split. Staff was very friendly, helpful and checking in/out was extremely easy. The bed was also very comfortable. Only remark is that there is no lift, so for elderly people it might not be ideal. Other than that it was absolutely great to stay here! Highly recommended! We woul definately come back when we visit Split. Many thanks for having us, Marmontova Luxury...

'Voor een vakantie naar Kroatië vind ik de combinatie van strand, zwembad en goed hotel heel belangrijk. Daarom de keus voor het Amphora Hotel. Normaliter heb ik een auto, maar omdat er in Split in augustus erg veel toeristen zijn heb ik voor bezoeken naar de stad en andere plaatsten gebruik gemaakt van Uber. '

'10 min walk from the riva, bus stops and port. Very quiet surroundings and super clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful, always happy to help or to advice. Definitely worth its money and no doubt that we will return to this beautiful country'

'My first stay at a Marriott, I believe… The hotel is new and looks great. Room was light, luxurious and did, as promised, give a seaview, although is was from (very) afar. The location isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. Light sleepers; be warned! Traffic noise is an issue. Maybe better to have a room on the other side of the buidling or (really) high up. There’s quite a few things that don’t match with the higher than average prices of the hotel though. Once my room hadn’t been cleaned (no...

'The staff was so friendly. Our compliments to Ivan from the reception. He was so helpful and kind. The other staff was also amazing! The location is great, but keep in mind that it's in a no car zone, so you do need to walk a bit with your luggage. However, the fact that it is right in the heart of Split's centre, makes up for it. Great hotel. '

'What a great place to stay! Location is perfect, room is clean and spacious, service is outstanding. We got upgrated to a bigger room with a bottle of sparkling wine as a surprise. The roof terrace has beautifull views. The room is clean, spacious and welcoming. The staff is amazing. Super friendly, happy to help and just so nice.'

'Het was OK, maar we kregen niet het idee dat het personeel er veel zin in had. Onze kamer werd tussendoor niet schoongemaakt en het ontbijt was wat gelimiteerd (tenzij je bijbetaalde). 20-25 minuten lopen van het centrum. Het rooftopterras en de sauna waren super, maar we hadden meer service verwacht van een viersterrenhotel. Dit was overigens het derde viersterrenhotel in Split dat we bezochten.'

'Very friendly and helpfull staff and a beautiful (modern) hotel. Really good breakfast with a lot of variety. Clean rooms, good gym and nice rooftop swimming pool. We really enjoyed visiting Split.The City center was just a ten minutes walk. The sandbeach is next to the hotel. We had the great time. 'Hotel ligt aaan strand, confortable, mooie locatie, goede service.ontbijt is redelijke goed . De centrum van Split ligt 15min met de auto . Er zijn vele gezellige stranden ook op 10km afstand waar u kunt bezoeken . Maar San antonio is de beste locatie om te verblijven . We zijn 10dagen gebleven , ik zou nog langer blijven als mijn vriendin nog verlofdagen had . '

'The staff were super helpful! Particularly Dajana was very helpful and provided food recommendations. Please be mindful that these are design rooms inside a business building, so it is not a like for like to a hotel. They serve breakfast at a cafe nearby, which was lovely, and they have a little rest area for tea and coffee. I thought the concept was nice and the room was clean and comfy.'
