La chambre etait jolie mais tres tres tres mal insonoriser. Dommage que le petit dejeuner etait pas sur place mais il etait bon. Le personnel etait agreable mais tres peu present. Tres bien situe pour les sortie. Ne vaut pas les 4 etoiles.

Pas terrible, peut mieux faire.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel en nous fiant aux avis laissés par des précédents voyageurs et nous avons été stupéfaits du décalage. Le lit d’appoint est un lit de camp très étroit et inconfortable pour un ado de 17 ans. La salle de bain ne disposait pas de savon, de shampoing. Deux lumières sur cinq fonctionnaient. Une seule carte d’accès à la chambre. Le parking se situe à 800 m de l’hôtel. Rues pavées, piétonnes et montantes à parcourir pour retrouver l’hôtel. Pas facile quand on est chargé. Le règlement du parking s’effectue uniquement en espèces. Le prix demandé est différent de celui mentionné sur le site hôtel.com. ( 25 euros/ jour au lieu de 20 indiqué). Le contenu du petit déjeuner est imposé, pas de choix. Rien de prévu pour les allergies ou intolérances alimentaires. En revanche, il est fait sur place. Tout est frais. Le personnel, quand il est présent, est serviable. Wifi ok. L’emplacement est au calme, très proche des lieux touristiques et des restaurants. Tout peut se faire à pieds.

I stayed in one of several ground floor (actually semi-basement) rooms that opened directly off the relatively quiet street. Noise was a major issue. This was for three reasons: (1) a window facing street and hidden outside by shutters and inside by curtains behind desk was left ajar. Closing it required moving desk, and a shorter person would have needed to stand on a chair. (2) Noise travelled from floor above easily - everything from footsteps to phone conversation was audible at 2am. (3) During heavy rain, the gutters somehow ran internally above the bathroom ceiling creating an echo chamber of dripping water noises! The front desk was not open for all of the advertised hours. I only stayed because I got three nights for price of two and location was conveniently close to the old town but not on busiest strips.

We booked and arrived the morning after our wedding! The facilities were clean and well kept, the hosts were helpful and friendly. A beautiful spot in the old town steeped in history with most things less than 5min walk. Excellent honeymoon experience, diolch 😁

The hotel was perfect for our 4 day stay in Split. Only negative was that it was a little difficult to find in the first instance, but the location, the room and service by the hotel staff was excellent.

WOW what a beautiful hotel. In the old town of Split, around one of many winding cobbled street corners. A very welcoming outside, with multiple outside stone steps. Beautiful reception along with 2 elevated decking seated areas and 1 other. We went on the 28th September 2025 for 3 nights. The weather was in the 20’s whilst we were there. We arrived just after 12pm and we were lucky to have our room ready for us. We were checked in quickly and we were greeted with a friendly and warm welcome. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are lots of places to eat in Split. The hotel has very much the old town look with lots of attention to detail. With a modern twist for the key-pads on the door and lights on the stairs. We stayed in room 305. Lovely high ceiling, with the bedside lamps on as we entered giving a very warm welcome. I won’t spoil the theme of the furniture but it is plumbing related. Lovely bathroom, decent sized shower cubicle with a large ceiling shower head with good pressure and heat. In the room was a small fridge to use, which was an added bonus. Toiletries in bathroom and tea, coffee and herbal tea, cups and kettle also in the room. Along with air conditioning. The hotel is only a few minutes to the nearest eatery / shop. Yet the area of the hotel is quiet during the day and during the night. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It’s in a fantastic location – close to the centre of Split but tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. Just a few minutes’ walk takes you to plenty of restaurants and bars, with a great choice of food and budgets to suit everyone. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and had fresh towels available every day if we wanted them. The décor was charming, with a style that reflected the atmosphere of Split’s old town streets. We walked everywhere during our stay. On a cooler day (end of September/early October), we explored the beautiful Marjan forest, which was well worth it. We also walked to a lovely beach where we hired loungers for €20 each – there are several spots along the coast to choose from, all clean, uncrowded and inviting. On the way back, we stopped at the Tennis Club terrace bar for a drink, which had wonderful views over the beach. Getting to the hotel was easy too – we took the airport shuttle bus (€16 each) to the harbour and walked from there in about 15 minutes through La Riva. All in all, a perfect stay - highly recommend.
