« We booked a double room.but when we arrived they had let our room out and gave us a twin room so i complained and they added free breskfast & drinks so we were fine . The room was large The beds were made into a double & was large & comfortable, room had iron & iron board , safe , fan , good tea tray & a seating area . « staff were pleasant enough, but we stayed in the honeymoon suite which as you walk in has a carpeted area with a wardrobe, a sink in the corner, a shower (no curtain) and a jacuzzi bath??? The door to the left has a toilet and the door to the right has a four post bed, tv & side cabinets. Breakfast was nice as had a fry-up but waited a while for a member of staff to notice that we'd entered the room & also that another couple had come in. « This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good. Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book. Neil »
