« I booked by 2 night stay at this hotel. I was attending my granddaughter wedding. Booking on line site unseen. What a "great Hotel" so very clean, Tina and Nyaneita front desk made me feel so Welcome. I can't say enough on how much I enjoyed my stay. »

« Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. Rhododaktylos, "The rosy-fingered dawn": I never understood the true meaning...

« 1940’s estate is maintained to remind you of those times. There was a “Speak-EZ” in the basement they had open Friday and Saturday evenings. My room was spacious and included a balcony. Huge front lawn with a pool and a view to the Bay. »

« Very large convention hotel in an odd new town built on the shores of the Potomac 20 minutes south of DC. Convenient to DCA airport - not convenient for Dulles. Food choices very limited but lots of bars. »
