Blokhutten in Sequoia National Park

'There was mold in the bathroom, the tub didn’t drain. The AC in the main living space didn’t work. It is located on a main road and had lots of road noise. The backyard is overgrown and the steps are questionable at best. There is also a creepy attic that is accessed from the living room that seemed questionable. '

'Location was good. Towels sheets, beds were good. Surfaces were clean. Not worried about rodents or bugs but the floors were not clean. Deck and access could use a little maintenance but doable. Lots of little steps and uneven flooring. Not great for elderly. Little bar down the street is huge bonus.'

'The cute cabin was very clean and the description was accurate. Love that it was pet-friendly. Check in was easy and the detailed instructions for driving there were easy to follow. Nice walk up the (very quiet) road with gorgeous views, into the NP (closed to cars). It is quite remote so driving out and into the NP by the main gate takes about 30 minutes. Kitchenette was well equipped. The one thing we would have changed was more blankets on the bed - it was a thin coverlet and was not clear...
