'Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. 'This was by far the nicest place I've ever stayed, and if I ever have the chance to come back to La Fortuna I would rebook here in a second. The houses are spacious, clean and comfortable. Each feels very separate from the others and the whole property is covered in well maintained plants. With the dense foliage and the nature walk, it feels like you are nestled in the jungle and its such an amazing and unique experience. 'The "pin" on the La Fortuna map is way off. The house is actually near Sonafluca. We really enjoyed the house, but wanted to be closer to La Fortuna. VRBO says you will get directions and entry information about 3 days in advance; I really needed the directions for planning.House itself is really nice and the grounds are very private. We didn't have time to try out the hot tub.'

'We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the cabin and the location. Make sure you bring bug spray when sitting on the balcony/terrace.The little pond makes it really nice and quite some wildlife directly on the property.'
