'This is a great boutique resort ideal for couples. Those with kids may find other places a better fit (El Silencio for example).
Intimate room setups with private hot tubs, excellent restaurant with live music during dinner, and a very nice pool setup for relaxing. The beds were super comfy and staff was wonderful. No view of the volcano but there is a sloth that lives up in one of the trees. For those looking for an intimate, relaxing setting, this is a great spot.'

One of the best things about staying at hostel chains as a solo traveler is the consistency in quality and service, and this one definitely delivered. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and I really appreciated how well-organized and enjoyable their activities are (salsa and bachata classes, nature tours, etc.).

'Adrian welcomed and gave us several restaurant recommendations. The included breakfast was delicious. We had a great view of volcano Arenal from our room. The AC worked great, excellent water pressure in the shower. Hair dryer and toiletries provided. Unlike other hotels, there were hooks to hang your wet towel on. Located far enough away from the main drag that it was quiet at night, but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops.'

'We had a wonderful stay here! We visited villas eco arenal with about 20 persons. The staff went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable!!! I organised a surprise birthday party, where Eduardo came with the initiative to arrange a birthday cake - which was stunning -, organised a local folkloristic dance group, and they reserved and decorated the whole restaurant for us.'

'Ontzettend schone en ruime kamer. De badkamer is zeer modern en ook schoon. Er is airconditioning. Op het terrein kun je zwemmen. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en spreekt goed Engels. Het hotel is iets buiten het centrum. Wij vonden dat geen probleem, aangezien je voor trips gewoon opgehaald wordt. Je kunt in max 10 minuten ook naar jet centrum lopen.'
