'Staff was friendly. But the room and certain areas need attention. Room(suite): stained couch in room, missing handle on sliding door, black specks in sink… bed was comfy atleast. In hotel itself: scratched up walls in elevators, sticky residue left over from tape on lobby walls/fixtures. To me—those little details stick out like a sore thumb. Expensive valet and we unloaded everything ourselves and had to take it up to the room ourself. Asked questions to the valet and they weren’t great...

'Place is nice. Just be advised that the rooms are smaller than your standard rooms. Bathrooms need a little updating but are clean. Considering the area it’s a good value.'

'We had an amazing stay at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego! The hotel was clean, the customer service was excellent, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The luggage and valet staff were especially amazing throughout our entire stay. Our room also had an incredible view overlooking Petco Park—it honestly felt like having a rooftop bar right outside our window! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again.'

'Our stay was great! We are a family of six, and the room with two queen beds and a sofa bed was perfect for our family. The room was clean, and we had plenty of clean towels. The breakfast was also excellent, with many options, and the chef kindly prepared scrambled eggs for my children, which they loved. The only issue was that there were no extra sheets for the sofa bed when we arrived. However, we called Guest Services, and they promptly brought them up to our room. Parking was full at the...

'Easy access by car, nice pool, they provide some noodles and things to play in the pool and, excellent, a device to help disabled people to access the water. There is a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and depending on the day for dinner too, though beware, the waffles are pretty salty compared with European tastes, but if you like…'
