Cruises in Coronado

'Unit was located at a busy street with many loud motorcycles as choppers and cars with extreme loud engines, as seems to be the culture in southern California. My sleep was interrupted many times because of this. At my request to relocate I only got an answer 4 days (and difficult nights) later. In the new unit the TV malfunctioned, the remote could only be used for changing the channel and not volume or even de-activate the TV. You had to do this with a button on the TV. TV itself did not work...

'We were very happy with our choice to stay at the 1906 Lodge during our brief trip to San Diego. The staff, room, service, food, and property were all top-notch, especially the ladies working on the front line dealing directly with guests.'

'You can pay $800 to stay across the street at The Del...or $300 to stay at Glorietta Bay Inn. SAVE THE $500 for some nice dinners in Coronado!!'

'Not cheap, parking is also $65. I can live with price of the room and parking, but to charge $54 resort fee when this hotel is not even close to a resort, is pure price gouging. The hotel can say but that includes wifi (don't need it, got cell service) and we offer beach chairs, but they are not running and setting you up at the beach. A hotel that is truly a "resort" is right accross the street Hotel Del for example. I will stay at the Bower again, but just a one nighter.'
