'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'The hot tub wasnt hot at all, it was barely luke warm and they didnt have towels out at the pool but other then that it was a great stay. Super close to the beach and shops. I would stay there again.'

'Felt very welcomed and taken care of by the attentive staff. The entire facility was new, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had two rooms, and they accommodated our family well. The location is great - close to the beach and many stores and restaurants. The gym was small, but it was never crowded. Highly recommend if you don’t feel the need to have a pool. '

Highlights for us were: our casual morning bike rides through the beautiful and quiet neighborhoods (the bikes worked great and really added a fun element in getting around!), sunset walks at the beach (host had great towels and chairs which made packing easy), and we rode the ferry over to the Midway museum (super close by and a great starting point for our other SD...

'Wonderful location and proximity to the beach - BUT... Went to Coronado with my 2 grandsons so they could play in the ocean and on Coronado beach. Hotel never advised me either before arrival or at check-in that the entire Coronado shoreline and beach is CLOSED due to raw sewage contamination from the Tijuana River flowing out of Mexico. Found this out when we walked down to the beach to go swimming and saw the "Closed" signs! Check in time was 4 PM. Arrived at 3:55 and had to wait until 4:30...

'Perfect location. Welcoming, helpful front desk staff. Love the clean room with coffee maker, fridge, microwave & Comfortable beds. Cleaning staff very friendly and professional. Rode the complimentary bicycles, and although we were grateful, it was challenging finding ones that weren’t rusted out and unsafe. Hopefully next time they’ll be in better shape. Will definitely stay here again. '
