'One of the best price/quality options for your stay in Chicago. Great neighbourhood with lots of (rather expensive) restaurants and bars. Supermarket around the corner. Metro station at 10 minutes walking distance. The Villa Toscana is a charming old house with nice garden and verandah. Rooms are a bit small and stuffy, with no view or possibility to open windows in the bottom rooms, although the owner unscrewed one of the closed windows for us to let in a bit of fresh air. 'Wonderful new discovery for us. We were in Chicago to visit our son who lives in Wicker Park and discovered this fabulously funky B&B in Bucktown. It will DEFINITELY be our go to place to stay for future visits. Staff so friendly, everything about our stay was great, visiting with fellow guests over breakfast (pancakes or French Toast, which to choose, too hard, have both!) - just altogether wonderful. '

With no other rooms available, we had to stay in a space that wasn’t ideal at first, although the manager Jose resolved the problem as quickly as he could.
