'We all enjoyed our stay this past weekend '

'Very relaxing stay. I was looking for someplace out of town but close to town to recharge a bit. This cabin was fantastic. Absolutely loved the big window that made to back walk & the view of oak trees & wildlife. The only minor issue (for me) was that the hot tub appeared dirty as was the back deck area - which I guess was understandable because of the tremendous rain in the area. Overall a nice visit. '

'Very nice cabin with all the amenities needed and a large porch with a clear view of Enchanted Rock. Wonderful dark skies for stargazing and meteor showers. Hummingbirds were active (up to six at one time), deer, and jackrabbits. Coyotes howling, Screech owls, birds, cattle. Wonderful sunrises.'

'The stay was nice. Very clean. No parking issues, no loud dogs. Very quiet. '

'We had a great visit. When we pulled up to the house, there were 2 deer across the creek. It looked staged, we joked that the deer had rehearsed. The patio area is beautiful and a nice spot to hang out. Our daughters enjoyed catching small fish and lightning bugs. We also enjoyed driving on the trails. '

'The house was amazing and very well put together and the view from the back porch was very pretty with the river in the background. We loved how close it was to the town and all the wineries. Would highly recommend staying here. '

'This is a wonderful escape from the hustle-bustle of daily life! Everything was as described and we couldn't ask for anything more. Sitting on the porch while it rained was so relaxing.Sadly, it was during nearby flooding and we were worried about all the people whose lives were affected...'

'Loved the cottage and all the artifacts. Comfortable bed. The area was serene and peaceful; very nice sitting on the back porch in the evening watching the sunset and hummingbirds.'

'We rented 3 of these cabins for our Fredericksburg stay as we were in town for a wedding at Alstadt brewery which was across the street. They are located behind the Wedding Oak Winery and are hidden from the main road. This place is a great option, especially if you have a larger party, and is so close to everything. 10 min to downtown and wineries all around. We were able to spread out across the 3 cabins so everyone had comfortable accommodations and enjoyed the quiet and relaxing area. We...

'Perfect stay! This place has everything you need for a quiet, quaint getaway. We enjoyed it all, from the beautiful scenery to the relaxing hot tub. We wanted to stay in the beautiful hill country, and this was exactly what we were looking for. It was still close to so many attractions and just a short drive to Fredericksburg. Thanks to the hosts, for making it a great 25th anniversary stay for us. We can't wait to stay here again.'
